All has been well here at Buttermilk Lane..getting ready for Christmas and sending out lots of special gifts. My memorial jewelry has taken off and keeps me very busy. I have totally stopped doing any shows!! :-))
Well, too busy to write more, but will try and keep up with posting!

Hey!!! It's SUMMER!!!!
Let the nice weather begin!!!

New jewelry style added to Buttermilk Lane

I have gotten many comments that my jewelry makes nice gifts for children. I think because most of the items are small.....that's why I have created these larger sized items fitting a "queen" of any size! They measure 1"x1.5" All flowers are grown and pressed by moi'. (when it isn't raining )

The flowers are sealed within micro-thin glass and silvered soldered. They are all one-of-a-kind. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions on what you may want to see, let me know!

The weather has been awesome here!!! The temp has been in the high 60's!! I am NOT a HEAT FREAK! I am so loving this weather!!! Too awesome for staying inside..as I KNOW that Hot and Humid is one the way!!! I have been very busy with landscaping my property. Things have been getting out of control and I have decided to "get a grip" and make it right! I have miles of mole trails I am planting over. These guys are making me CRAZY!!! Does anyone have any ideas on getting rid of them??? It is soooooo discouraging to make an area nice and then only to see the trails undermining what I have done. Argh!!!

Well it seems everyone is blogging these days, so I thought I would give it a try!
This is a picture of me pressing Sweet Alyssum for my jewelry.
This is the busiest time here at "Buttermilk Lane" with all the spring blossoms blooming at the same time.....or so it seems.
Growing my own flowers is the "secret" of achieving the most beautiful jewelry. In fact, I must get going now to DO the picking and pressing!!
First thing in the morning is the perfect time to pick flowers for pressing before the hot sun wilts them. My Forget-Me-Nots are in full bloom now. I will post a picture of them later.
Bye for now.
